Yes, the “Fan-Edition” (FE) label makes it sound like this phone was cobbled together by a band of avid Samsung supporters, but trust us – it’s Samsung’s own and is practically identical to the S21 version at a much lower cost.

At, there are currently a number of fantastic contracts to be had on the S21 FE, though our three favourite ones offer stacks of data at a sub-£40 monthly cost and nothing to pay up-front:

Since the preorder price for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G handset itself is £699, it means you’re paying just below £7, £8 or £9 extra per month for enormous amounts of data. For our money, the 50GB option is the way to go, as it’s almost £50 cheaper than the unlimited plan over the duration of the contract, but still gives you plenty of data to play with.

Alternatively, if you like to stream movies and TV series on your phone, you can double your data to 100GB for just an extra £1 per month, or go unlimited for an additional £2 per month.

All these deals also come with a FREE three-month subscription to Disney Plus. If that doesn’t seal the deal, read on for more about Samsung’s latest FE model.

Samsung’s latest FE model has similar internals and specifications to Samsung’s 2021 flagship, the S21 but with a slightly lower price point.

Visually, the design is also very similar and comes in four colours: Graphite, Lavender, Olive and White. On the back, you’ll find three cameras: the main 12MP camera (identical to the original S21), as well as an ultrawide 12MP lens and an 8MP telephoto camera.

Internally, the Galaxy S21 FE is using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset to run the show, so we expect it to deliver similar if not better results than the S21, which used Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset. All this is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, as well as an identical battery to the S21.

These excellent preorder deals won’t be around forever, so grab them while you still can.
